Ohio is a "one party" state, meaning that so long as you are a party to the conversation, then you can record it without the other person knowing about it. Where you can get into trouble is when you record a conversation and no party to the conversation knows about it. For example, while you can tape record calls between yourself and another person and record them without the other person knowing it, if your recording system was automatic and someone else used your phone to call a third person, not knowing that the recording device was going, that would be wiretapping under Ohio law.
