Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

My husband and I are separating for awhile. We currently live in PA for about 2 1/2 yrs, we are originally from MI. We have a 16 month old son, and I want to leave PA and go back to MI because I have lots of support, friends/family there. I would be taking our child with me. I already have a good job waiting for me and a place to stay. Do I need any legal document from my husband before I leave....stating that its ok for me to leave him?

The best scenario would be for you to file for custody and come to a written agreement that you can relocate. If you leave and he objects, he can file to have the court order the return of the child to PA.

You really do have to get the blessing of the court...you should perhaps file an emergency petition.....

You need a lawyer!
