Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Pennsylvania

Reimbursement for repair costs in small claims court

I purchased a home in this past september and the seller agreed to fix several problem items that were identified in the home inspection. After moving in and living in the home for about 4 months it has become clear to me that he did not repair the items he agreed to. Can I take him to small claims court to get reimbursed for the costs to repair the items that he did not fix? Is there a limit on the time frame to file this claim?

More information is needed. The question comes up as to why it took you four months to discover that no repairs were made. In addition, did you check that repairs were made prior to settlement? You can go to small claims court but I have some serious concerns as to whether you can collect without additional information. Gerald Hershenson Esq.215-579-9390
