Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Pennsylvania

statue of limitations

I was just charged with criminal mischif and vandalism. This event happen on 9-21-02 and charges were just filed on 10-19-04 Is there a statue of limitation law for this in pennsylvania being it's been so long before they filed this charge against me.

First of all, you're in the wrong section. You should be in criminal, not civil. In any case, the general statute of limitations for such offenses is two years. You need to get an attorney to help you get the charges dismissed.

I would certainly make a motion to dismiss for failure to timely prosecute. These are jsut disorderly persons offenses, not murder.
