What criteria must be met for an employee that working for a physician group to be considered statutory for tax purposes?

There are a number of tests that the IRS uses to determine if a person is a "statutory" employee. Among the easiest to determine are whether or not the person receives income from other sources, whether the person exercises independence in the performance of tasks, and the physical location of the work performed.
