Re: Is accident worth leagel help

$1,000 is a little low. Based on your description, the case probably is worth more. First you have to ask your self whether the possible greater value justifies the costs fees and time required to obtain more. What concerns me more about you settling now is that you are not even 2 months out from the accident, which I think may be too soon to have a good handle on prognosis. Do you really know what the future holds?? You should contact a lawyer in your locale with experience in personal injury claims.

Re: Is accident worth leagel help

It appears that your wife was in a bad accident. The amount offered is very low considering the facts you presented. I would be happy to speak to you about your case at your convenience. I strongly advise against accepting a settlement at this time.

It does not hurt having legal assistance in dealing with an insurance company that may want to settle before side effects of teh accident may materialize. I would suggest consulting an attorney before accpeting any proposed settlement.

The cost for the insurance company to defend a lawsuit would well exceed $1,000. I would highly recomend speaking with an attorney to discuss the potential value of the case. I offer free consultations.

Re: Is accident worth leagel help

You should consult an attorney. Although a review of injuries is in order, it appears your case is worth well-above what has been offered. It will not cost you anything to obtain legal advice. Also, some attorneys, like myself, will not take a fee against the amount you have already negotiated. In other words, I would only take a contingent fee (a percentage) out of any money I obtain for you over and above $1000.00 You have nothing to lose. I would be happy to speak with you and for you to come into my office for an appointment. Please call my office at 215-557-8686. You can view my website at www.thepearcelawfirm.com.
