Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Pennsylvania

Repayment of loan to estate

The recently deceased gave an unsigned $5,000 loan to his grand daughter

for college tuition, which she has been paying back since her graduation four

years ago. Does the balance of this loan have to be repaid to the estate, or is

the loan absolved upon the death of the grandfather?
