Do you HAVE to give your employee the right to select the doctor they want to go to off of the panel of doctors? Can the employer "suggest" which doctor they'd like the employee to see?

Frankly, I'm astounded that you're not satisfied with limiting an injured worker's choice of treating physicians to a panel of six, and want to narrow it down even further. I practice on the plaintiffs' side, but I'm sure if you talked to any defense attorney in the comp field, they'd tell you it would be a very big mistake to discourage a worker from exercising that very limited right. After all, where else is a patient's choice of treater so restricted?
