Re: allimony

In SC, there are many factors that the Court considers in deciding whether or not to award alimony to a spouse. Those factors are set forth in S.C. Code Section 20-3-130, which you can read by pasting the following into your web browser: http://www.scstatehouse.net/code/t20c003.htm

Alimony is a very complex issue, and it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.

If you need more information, you can visit my family law blog (www.SCFamilyLaw.com) or our website (www.StevensFirm.com). I wish you the best of luck.
