Emotional abuse?

My son is 8 and my ex has custody. he yells, hollers, and cusses my son. is this emotional abuse?

The real question is how a judge would react to such behavior by a custodial parent. Almost all judges would consider that to be inappropriate behavior, but it would upset some judges more than others. If this could be proved, it could be the basis for a change of custody -- again, if it could be proved.
