Legal Question in Family Law in Tennessee

Temporay Child Custody

My husband has filed for divorce and I am waiting to be served so I can take his divorce papers to my attorney. Can I get custody of my son until the divorce is finalized and child support ordered? I'm afraid he will try and keep him when I move out.

Re: Temporay Child Custody

If you move out, you need to be sure you take the child. Otherwise, I would not move out. You can check with the court to see if he has filed. If he has filed get a copy of the complaint from the clerks office and take it to your attorney
