Legal Question in Insurance Law in Tennessee
Insurance Settlement
What action do I have when my insurance company has totaled my car and will not pay off what I owe? It was bought on a new/used car lot and financed through a finance company. It had full coverage insurance.

Re: Insurance Settlement
There are several publications that estimate the value of a car. The insurance company is probably using the most conservative estimate. You need to ask them where they obtained their estimate as to the value of the car. There is also the possibility that you paid to much for the used car when you bought it. Your message does not indicate the differential in price between the insurance company's price and the price you paid for the used car.
