Legal Question in Insurance Law in Tennessee
What happens if I do not settle before the satute of limitations time runs out
I was in a car accident a year ago in Tennessee. They have a One year statute of Limitations to Settle or Sue. I am almost at the year anniversary, and still don't know what is wrong (though still in pain).
The insurance company is wanting me to settle.
My question is... what happens if I DO NOT settle or sue by the One year anniversary of my accident? Can I still get a good settlement or am I stuck with whatever the insurance company wants to pay me?
Thank you for your time. I greatly appreciate it.

The one year statute of limitations bars all recovery, settlement or otherwise. That means adios.
