Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My ex boyfriend and I have ann eleven year old girl he has not always been around (jail or messing off). In 2009 I went to jail and CPS was involved but he never really had her, his family did. I got her back but now his girlfriend of the year tries to play mom and finds out whats going on at school. I don't have them on her information. I'm worried since she will be twelve her and her dad will try to get custody. Righy now we have joint and he has only paid one year in child support, he is behind 22,000 dollars. What do I do?

The court looks at what's in the best interest of the child. So, be a good mother and provide a good home for your daughter.

You need to follow the court order in regard to custody.

If the custody order has a provision that no unmarried persons of the opposite sex can stay overnight when your daughter's in the house, then you can have the court enforce that. If not in the order, you can file a motion to modify.

You can file a motion for contempt for failure to pay child support.
