Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Is this legal..... I was in divorce court in May 2012 and was told by the judge that my divorce was final. Property was divided and spousal support was given. Then in July 2012 I was told that my ex-husband did not like the outcome and he filed an appeal. The motion for appeal was granted and the hearing was set for October 2012. After the October hearing, I told the judge(same judge same court) that I was very confused by what was transpiring and I asked the judge, am I divorced or not and he said "No, you are no longer divorced and your husband must put you back on his insurance."

There are several legal ways to revive a case. The most common ways to do so is to file a motion for new trial and/or an appeal. Specific rules govern the manner in which they must be done.
