Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

Son hit while on bike by a policeman and son was riding on wrong side of street.

My son was riding his bike on the wrong side of the street while struck by a car driven by a policeman in a police vehicle. the trooper who worked the scene claims my son hit the police car. the impact was on the back of the passenger side. there were tire prints on my son's clothes on his back. my son is 17 and when the ambulance came they allowed him to say he did not want to go to the hospital.

when i came home i called the trooper and he said it was my son's fault. What can be done?

You may have a case against the municipality however you should consult as additional information is needed to determine if soverign immunity can be overcome, and what damages your child has. If you have any additional questions please feel free to contact me.

Get an attorney. Don't make any recorded statements. Get the names of any witnesses, and don't wash the clothes he was wearing.
