Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

I am already paying child support and have medical insurance on the child. I am not married to the child's mother. She does not have the child in insurance. She has a medical bill and have taken me to small claim court to pay the medical bill. Will I be ordered to pay the medical bill and pay medical insurance for the child?

If you're not married to the mother and the paternity of this child has

not yet been formally established, a court of proper jurisdiction will first have to address that issue before you can be ordered to pay for anything connected with or for this child.
