Dear Sir

I (F22) resides with my mother in law and husband with my two sons.

My mother in law my mother got the stay on maintenance on charge under section 18 of Hindu Adoption and Maintenance Act on some plots of my fathe in low r which are our ancestoral property aslo. My father in law stays with his mistress and he is not ready give us share of property. I have filed case of Domestic voilance Act also against my father in law.

Just wanted to ask my mother in law is 59 and use to be ill much time whether i can be part of this suit which she has got stay on maintenance on charge as the stay is still on and my father in law cant sell our ancestoral property.

In case if my mother dies will this stay on maintenance on charge will collape and become null and void or I will be able to take the benefit of this stay on maintenance on charge which is in favour of my mother in law currently and after her death i will be able to continue this case as her representative.

Just wanted to ask wheather i can get the benefit of this stay after mother's death, only 2 small plot have been left unsold ,wheather i can do something to get stay order for this unsold lands. Please suggest. Can I become party with my mother in law for continuing the stay on maintance on charge.

Dear Madam,

You seem to be unnecessarily wasting all your invaluable time and money, chasing Advocates / Lawyers and running behind them to the Court, which will lead you to nowhere; rather than using your precious time positively and constructively in managing your family, your husband and your children. Your father in law allegedly staying with his mistress as per your contention, in no way entitles you to file a Domestic Violence case against him. It is none of your business to be interfering in the actions of your father-in-law and inviting insurmountable trouble for yourself. Your attitude and behaviour is like the saying in Hindi : "Apnee hee billi, apnay say meeow". You are staying in your father-in-law's house and you are doing "meeow" on him ? No, you have no locus standi to become a party to your mother-in-law's action.

Regards,
