How to verify property documents

Dear Sir / Madam,

You should verify the Title Deeds, 7/12 extract (if land), Registration of the Property in the name of the Seller in the record of the Tehsildar / District Registrar (most Important), and all the chain of past sale-purchase transaction documents of the property.
