Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

A judge recently ordered a child support calculation for arrearages owed to me from the father of my children, the calculation is very different from a first calculation done in 2009. The calculation done in 2009 was what was used when the judge ruled in my favor last year regarding these arrearages. Arrearages were never added to monthly child support, not even when I filed to have the child support increased. I was told it had to be filed separately, so I filed a petition to enforce which was when this second calculation was done. I have no proof other than a status case report done by the same court clerk, what can I do? Since a judge already ruled in my favor that these arrearages were owed to me, can they go by the new calculation and change something he already ruled on?

PLEASE SCHEDULE A CONSULTATION WITH ME AS SOON AS YOU CAN. I am not sure how recently this happened, but time may be of the essence to fix it.

I would need to SEE each of the orders you are referring to. THEN, I can help you consider and then pursue your options for insuring that the correct arrears calculation has been entered.

I can explain the issues and procedures better in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via email. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss your matter in detail.

Please call us directly to discuss the specifics of your matter, or contact my assistant Gina or my paralegal Jennifer to schedule your free 1/2 hour consultation.
