Legal Question in Immigration Law in Arizona

A friend is here in Az illegally. He is in the process of applying for a visa. He has no criminal record. He is not working illegally, just living here. He is married to a US citizen. Because he is in the Visa process does he have to worry about the new Arizona immigration law.

Yes, this new law applies to him. If he came to USA illegally without a visa, it's likely that he will have to depart the USA and apply for a visa back at his home country. It's advisable that they consult a lawyer.
