Legal Question in Business Law in California
LLC membership units
One member of young California LLC wish to withdraw from the company and
to give up his membership units. The rest of the company members wish to organize fund and transfer leaving member membership units to this fund.
Units in this fund will be reserved for the future members, employers or
investors.
How do we go about this situation? How do we formalize it?

Re: LLC membership units
All such decisions and transfers must be documented properly in the company records by mgmt, signed off by the parties, with proper notices and filings done [you've been doing that all along, right?].
Sounds like you need the assistance of an attorney to make sure you do these things right. Feel free to contact me if serious about doing so.
