Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California

How to remove court case from my record

I need to learn the process of having a court case removed off my records.

The case was cancel and it never went before a Judge.

The courts file clerk told me even though cases get canceled, they still remain on your records and I would need to seek legal advice in order to remove this case.

Do I need to Seal or Expunge this? If so, how do I do this?

Only convictions can be expunged. You may be able to petition for a declaration of factual innocence, and to seal and purge the record. If serious about doing so, feel free to contact me to discuss the process and costs.
