Legal Question in Consumer Law in California
Can I cancel a contract the next day?
I just bought a used car. After signing the
agreement for the car, I noticed alot of things
wrong with it (cracked windshield, chipping paint,
bad door locks, missing hub cap etc.). Can I
cancel the contract?

Re: Can I cancel a contract the next day?
IN RESPONSE TO YOUR QUESTION ABOUT THE PURCHASE OF YOUR USED CAR, IF THE PLACE WHERE YOU BOUGHT IT MISREPRESENTED THE CAR TO YOU THEN YOU MAY BE ABLE TO RETURN IT OR AT LEAST HAVE IT REPAIRED IF THERE IS A WARRANTY. HOWEVER, IF THE PROBLEMS WITH THE CAR EXISTED WHEN YOU BOUGHT IT AND YOU JUST IGNORED OR OVERLOOKED THEM, YOU PROBABLY CANNOT RETURN IT. YOU MAY CALL ME AT MY OFFICE FOR A FREE CONSULTATION IF YOU WISH TO DISCUSS THIS FURTHER. VERY TRULY YOURS, HOWARD SILVER (818 597 2610)
