Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

2 police came to door with a warrent for the male resident on a suspend license, I am the babysitter of his 2 yr old. me and baby was only one home both parents were at work or out of the house.. they eventually pushed their way in door after I told them I would not consent to them comming in its not my home and they are not home...they only had a warrant for him not the home...was it this legal entry or violation??

Such warrant would allow a search of the house for HIM, not of the house for anything else. The defendant may raise 'illegal' entry and search if they seized anything, but defendant would have to show 'legal harm and damage' to him and his defense.
