Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Computer generated checks
A man had copies of my checks in his wallet when he was arrested. He and a woman tried to cash them for more than $3,000. What will be the penalty when he is tried for forgery and fraud?

Re: Computer generated checks
If convicted, the sentence will depend on several factors, such as prior record, amount of loss, etc. If they decide to take the case to trial and then lose the sentence will most likely be more severe, especially if they testify and the judge believes they have perjured themselves.
