Re: Own recognize

It is possible but it will depend on several factors. First of all, the court will want assurances that you are not a flight risk and not a danger to the community. You will probably have to waive any extradition rights but it will not matter if you are planning on showing up.

Re: Own recognize

California, like other states, has OR investigators who interview arrestees. Like every OR situation, it matters who you are, what you did, your social and financial status, your priors, and what if any stake you have in the outcome. If you are from out of state, they are going to want to know why you are going to bother showing up for court. Have a good reason, and being from out of state won't be as much of a problem.
