Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
I just want to no why my husband was sentenced two yrs. for a mistermeanor and sent to prison.since he has been there theyve changed it to a felony .how can they do that .He took deal for mistermeanor, confused

For starters, you should ask him and/or his attorney. No one out here could possibly know.
More to the point, a person is only sentenced to prison for a felony. Misdemeanor sentences are up to a year in jail. You don't have the full story.
