My husband had a warrant for his arrest . He was found and arrested after the police got a search warrant to go into A friends house for him. The search warrant had the wrong address and the description was very vague will that help his case at all?

It may, but I wouldn't count on that. The fact that the police went into a friends house to arrest your husband isn't a big issue, because your husband doesn't have a reasonable expectation of privacy in a friends house.

No. It doesn't matter how or where they 'got' him. It does 'hurt' his case that he had to searched out and found. That will affect the attitude of the DA and court towards him in any bail hearing or plea bargaining.
