You need to file a petition to expunge. Call me to discuss a step by step process on how to expunge your record. Arthur Khachatourians 818.590.8294. Also, see http://www.law-start.com/Expungements.html
Re: info on cleaning your record
Thank you for your posting, and for the opportunity to advise you.
Specifics matter in law, so it would be important to know what is on your record. If it is a crime, that is something you pled guilty to, or were convicted of, then it also depends on what crime it is, and the date of conviction.
If it's a misdemeanor, then you can apply for an expungement. An expungement doesn't actually "remove" anything from your record, but it does retroactively remove your conviction from your record, and allows you to truthfully state you were not convicted of the crime.
If you're speaking about a felony, then there are other options available to you, including a pardon, or a certificate of rehabilitation.
Thanks, and I hope this helps. If you have any further questions, feel free to email me, anytime, at [email protected]. It's my pleasure to assist you in any way that I can, towards clearing your record.
Re: info on cleaning your record
Nothing can be 'removed' from the record, but expungement can transform it, by having the charge dismissed as if no conviction had occured. Many charges can be expunged, but not all. Contact me if seriously interested in doing so.
