Misdemeanor - Domestic Violence

I am a 21 year old male college student who graduates this May 2008. I have never been arrested or convicted of anything prior to this event. My girlfriend and I got in a heated agrument back in Oct 07 and I bit her lip. The neighbors called the police due to arguing. My

girlfriend does not want to press charges but the DA is pressing charges. My question is do you know of others cases like this one and what was the outcome?

Sure, I know plenty of them. The outcome is frequently a conviction for assault and domestic abuse which will follow you for life. That is, unless, you and your attorney can get it dealt with in a way that is not a straight conviction. Feel free to contact me if serious about doing so.
