Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
My son was arrested in La Verne ,Ca for an outstanding warrant for probation violation in Florida.
They sad he would be sent back to Florida. How long can he held in LA County Jail before he is sent back.

For as long as it takes FL to get the paperwork to CA and send someone to transport him back, OR until he is releases if FL doesn't "reasonably timely" do that, usually 30 days max, or if FL requests more time. He could try to petition this court for early release if FL doesn't take action.
