House arrest denial and jailtime
after being charged misdemeanor charges for possession of a controlled substance without prescription, possession of marijuana, evasion (2800.1), and dui, i was sentenced to two months home confinement. during my orientation for home confinement, i tested positive to cocaine. I have a problem, and during aa meetings have come to accept it. unfortunately, my family depends on me to work, and if i go to jail, i will lose my job. Is there any way for me to avoid jail time, and possibly seek help for my problem, rather than incarceration?

You should get an attorney to try to negotiate on your behalf, but there's a good chance that it's too late, as you tested positive to cocaine.

You'll have to try to get a second chance 'deal' from the DA and judge to avoid probation revocation and jail time. You'll probably need counsel to do so.
