Legal Question in DUI Law in California

I received a Notice to appear for Los Angeles City Municipal Code 41.27 (open container in park, parking lot). I have no past record. The LAMC indicates this is an infraction. Will this citation be a permanent issue on my record? Can it be an issue in the future?

Also the officer didn't check a box as to where to appear. I was cited at Griffith Park in the parking lot of Wilson Golf Course.

I greatly appreciate any advise you may offer.

Thank you

Records are forever. Convictions are on records, forever. An infraction carries only fines, no jail, so the choice is yours whether to hire an attorney to help you fight this and try to keep it off your record. If serious about doing so, feel free to contact me.
