Legal Question in DUI Law in California

Wrongful Inprisonment

If I was jailed on a felony DUI, did 72 hours, was released without seeing a judge and told my charges were dropped to misdemeanor, is that wrongful inprisonment?

No. There is a lot at stake including mandetory jail time. A lawyer may be able to have the evidence excluded due to lack of probable cause for the stop. Call me directly at 1.619.222.3504.

You have bigger fish to fry than to worry about a wrongful imprisonment. You need to worry about a DUI defense. My firm regularly handles DUI, and specializes in their defense. I would be happy to consult with you regarding any of your questions and possible representation.
