Legal Question in Family Law in California

I filed on December 29 an application for publication of my divorce petition (don't know where is my husband) after trying to serve my husband. Till now i still haven't heard from the court. Should I publish the summons anyway? who is supposed to sign the order? i didn't provide the court with a self-addressed envelop is that why?

Court is the LOS Angeles Superior Court

The order is signed by the Judge and you need to have the order before you publish. If you didn't provide the Court with a self addressed stamped envelope, that is probably why you haven't received anything back. If you go on the Court's website (www.lasuperiorcourt.org) and look under case summaries, you can see if the Order was filed. Then you will need to go to the Court and get a copy. Good Luck.
