if a judge and one of the atty in a divorce case once worked for the same law firm can that be considered as a conflict of interest?

Not a conflict of interest, no. The judge has no personal stake in the outcome. There is a good chance the judge is prejudiced against any lawyer he had to sit through partner meetings with, however.
