Legal Question in Family Law in California

Owes over $100 thou, 12 contempts, I want his house

How do I go about filing a lien on property that he has an interest in. There's a support order open since 96,owing more than 100 thou arrears w/o interest. I found out where he's living and I want his house. I know I can push for a lien, what do I need to know and how do I go about it?

You should retain an attorney to help you on this. The first thing that you should do it file an abstract of support judgment in the county where the real property is located. This will create a lien and he will be unable to sell or refinance the home without paying you. After that is done, you need to obtain a writ of execution for sale of real property. Almost certainly you will need an attorney for that process and you should be able to get attorney's fees for the collection.
