Can an employer terminate you with only one day notice while you are on medical leave if all of fmla is exhausted.

Once your FMLA and any other leaves are exhausted, then your failure to return is job abandonment or grounds for termination. Make sure you request all disability, pregnancy, personal, and other accrued leaves due you, and request unpaid temporary emergency leave if necessary. Only if the company denies you leaves you are entitled to is there a potential case.
