Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California
Im the defendant in a unlimited civil case and have been representing myself due to financial hardship. I'm waiting for the award against me from the arbitrator in binding arbitration. After I receive their award from the arbitrator what happens? Do I have time to review the award?

A "binding" award will be final. Not generally subject to review, correction or appeal - read your arbitration contract/paperwork. If it creates a money judgment against you, the holder will promptly start collection activity against your income and assets. You could try to negotiate payments, ignore it and allow collection, or file BK if appropriate. It is too late to do anything to 'protect' your assets.
