Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

I took pictures and made videos at my boyfriends request and then emailed and on some occasions texted them to him. He also made videos of us while we were together and he has those as well. We have now broken up and he has threatened to post the videos online as well as send them to my sons school, my job, friends, family etc. Should he actually post or send these videos/pictures online or to an individual do i have any recourse?

Sure, expensive litigation and attempts at restraining orders. Possible criminal filings if he is trying to extort money out of you. If serious about hiring counsel to help in this, and if this is in SoCal courts, feel free to contact me. Otherwise, try to negotiate something to avoid the shame you face upon disclosure.

Yes, but you night not have to wait. You may already have grounds for a restraining order against your ex. You may also be able to make him turn over and/or destroy his copies of the pictures and video. If you are in or near L.A. and would like help doing this, please feel free to contact me directly.

Good luck.
