Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California
Stipulated Judgement
I, my business (single member LLC), has a stipulated judgement against an indivudual. I will be disolving my business. How do I make sure that the stipulated judgement will show my name and not my business. I still want to be able to collect from this individual.

You'll have to petition the court to amend the judgment, if possible.
Re: Stipulated Judgement
Hello!
1st: you need to assign the judgment FROM the LLC to you as an individual.
2nd File notice of assignment in the case and notify the defendant by mail.
3rd AAFTER 1 & 2 ABOVE, you do not have to amend the judgment by a motion before the court.
You can just do 1 & 2 above, and then assign the whole thing to a collection agency and let them do all the dirty work for a %.
