Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

I-864 affidavit of support, do I need a joint sponsor?

Hi everyone, I am a USC filing AOS for my husband. Up until March I was a full-time student and didn't earn any money and was a dependent of my mother so I didn't have to file a tax return. But since March I earn $1950/ month which amounts to around $23000/yr, therefore above 125% poverty line for a household of two.

Can I be the only sponsor for the I864 according to my current income or should I seek another sponsor?

Can I just file everything right now and get a sponsor if needed ( RFE ...)?

When in the AOS process do they check the I864?

Thanks a lot for your help
