Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I owe money on a settlement. I have a payment coming due in March. In the meantime, there is a class action suit that is going to be tried. If the class action wins, it would negate my having to pay the settlement. I obviously would like to avoid having to make the payment until the court rules on the case. If that is possible, how should I go about the process of letting the counter party know? Thanks in Advance

This is not something you want a "freeze-dried" or "cookie-cutter" answer to. It is going to require some thinking through after reviewing your settlement and the class action. Call my office for a free consultation.

Anything may be possible by negotiation among the parties, but you could be forced to seek court order and relief without an agreement. Without knowing all the facts and reviewing all the documents, there is no way I can give you an opinion. If serious about consulting and getting legal help, feel free to contact me.
