I was punched by a customer at work my boss has taken no action to help me.
I wa punched by a customer and i wasnt offerd any time off to recuperate, i had to ask for it and it was left up to me to find a replacement. i wasnt offerd any professional help. i was asked to go back to work after the incident and i was told that i can take time off only until 19th of Nov due to the holidays approching. I told my supervisor i was scared to go back to work and that i didnt feel comfortable helping customers and that i was having nightmares due to the incident. I asked of we had a help hotline so i can talk to some one and she said no. Now i just found out that we do have one another manager informed me that we did just yesterday11/12. this incident happend Nov. 4th i do have a police report. And an incident report with the complex. I am going to press charges to the man that punched me. I would like to know if i have a case? Or if i should leave it alone?

You may have a comp claim with the employer. You have case against the customer. Feel free to contact me if he has assets that make it worth pursuing.
