Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I was terminated from work because of violating our code of discipline in engaging with suppliers(free trips with approval of the big boss). initially 5 employee were given notice to explain and 1 in preventive suspension which is our big boss. i was given a notice to explain similar to the 5 employee but i was the only one terminated though i have cooperated and gave the same answers as they did. Can i sue them for illegal dismissal or discrimination?

No.

You are 'at will' .

in general, unless an employee is civil service, in a union, or has a written employment contract, they are an 'at will' employee that can be disciplined or terminated any time for any reason, with or without ‘cause’, explanation or notice.
