Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in California
Medical Negligence
My 76 yr.old Mother has complained to her primary physician of a sore throat for the last 3 years. Finally insisted on seeing a throat specialist who has confirmed she has stage three cancer of the throat she is now having Cimotherepy and daily radiation, a stomach tube to feed her, has lost her hair, taste buds and is having a terrible time. Might she have a negligence suit against her primary doctor. This seems to me it all could have been avoided. He has told her it was post nasel drip and for 3 yrs told to take over the counter Benedryl every night never even gave her a throat culture. Thanks for your consideration regarding this matter. Respectfully, Pam
