Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in California

medical

I recieved a cortisone injection under both of my eyes to reduce swelling. I now have fat atrophy under both eyes . I have seen another doctor and was informed that the result is perm. I look terrible and will require fat transfer, this is something that I'll have to deal with the rest of my life. Can I make the doctor pay for future treatment? Can I attemp to recieve a settlement?

You can try anything; success in a malpractice claim will require you show negligence by the doctor, among other things. Did the disclosure statements warn of such side effects? If your subsequent doctor is prepared to say that the outcome shows negligence and/or bad procedure, then you may have a claim to pursue. Feel free to contact me to discuss the actual facts and your rights and remedies.
