Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in California

Sperm Bank Hidden Video Camera

I went to a sperm bank for the first deposit visit. When I was in the private deposit room I noticed a dime size hole in the ceiling. I got on a chair took a closer look by removing the roof panel and sure enough it was a small hidden camera pointed right at the bed where people sit and masturbate. First off is this illegal. I am asking under medical malpractice becasue I guess that is the closest comparison. When I signed the forms they said it was the equal to a doctors visit. Can doctors place hidden cammeras in thier office? So do I have a case against the Sperm Bank if I want to sue and under what violation, right to privacy? If not can I at least report this to some authority so that they lose their license or business.

While not "medical malpractice," what you have described is a serious violation of privacy rights, not only for yourself, but all other persons who have been in the facility. The facts described also constitute criminal violations. Please feel free to contact me to discuss this action and how to proceed.
