Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

Possible bone fracture

I lived in an apartment complex Los Angeles, CA. I notified the management twice via certified mail regarding leaking pipes in the garage. I was concerned about my vehicle not my health. They ignored my complaints. A month and a half later (Sept 2003), I slipped and fell. I heard a popping sound and I started having pain and numbness in my leg. I rested for about 3-4 days with ice and some over the counter pain medication, and I felt a little better. I have documented and photographed everything all possible hazards.

I did not see a doctor to get x-rayed because I dont have any health insurance. My symptoms are flaring up again. I am going to have a medical consult and x-ray to rule in or out any fractured vertebra. If my x-ray indicates any fracture, Do i have a cause of action? And is the statue of limitation expired?

Re: Possible bone fracture

You may have a valid claim for your injury, although not getting medical treatment or x-rays will affect your credibility in making a late claim If you have witnesses to your complaints at the time, that helps. Contact me if interested in getting experienced counsel to help you get full value for your claim.
